Check out the Eternity Vault operation up close and personal
Bioware was happily showing off the Eternity Vault operation (or raid) to Star Wars: The Old Republic fans at last week’s GamesCom convention in Cologne, Germany. Attendees were able to watch a live demonstration of the level 50, 8-man operation hosted by Gabe Amatangelo, Lead End-Game Designer for TOR.
Now, if you’re like us, you were probably not able to attend the convention so you missed out on all of the fun. Well, fret not Troopers! In this week’s “Fan Friday” update TOR’s Director of Production, Dallas Dickinson, gives us a ten minute walkthrough of the Eternity Vault operation. The walkthrough highlights the viewpoint of the Sith Empire and begins as the group is tasked with entening the Eternity Vault to stop “The Infernal One”. You’ll get a detailed walkthrough of the first boss fight, as well as some highlights from deeper inside the operation. It’s really a great video that gives insight not only into end-game content, but some of the level 50 abilities and gear. The Enternity Vault is the first of many planned operations that will be available in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
You can check out the video below in all of its HD goodness. Enjoy!
From the official SWTOR site:
A prison discovered buried in the ice on Belsavis is thought to house an ancient and deadly evil that could threaten the galaxy. To counter this threat, General Thredoldt dispatches Imperial forces to investigate the prison and confront the dangers within. Watch as a group of players work their way towards the prison gates in the opening section of the Eternity Vault, one of the high-level Operations in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
