Republic Trooper Is Looking For Combat Journalists
Do you love Star Wars: The Old Republic and have an interest in joining its online community?
As one of the fastest growing fan sites out there, Republic Trooper currently has two open positions for those seeking to become a part of our team, get some potential exposure in the gaming industry, or just want to lend some time helping us become the one-stop resource for the Trooper Class.
As we all have day jobs, all positions require a minimum 4-6 hour weekly commitment. We all work as a virtual team and use various web services to track time and the status of projects we work on, so you must have a reliable high speed internet connection as well as a working microphone.
Job Duties
- Create in depth, thoughtful articles related to the Trooper Class, SWTOR at large and the surrounding community. Articles shall be no less than 750 words and a max of 2000 words. We are currently looking for our writers to produce 2 editorials a month.
- Participate in discussions via our forum and keep in touch with the ever-growing RepublicTrooper.com community.
- Occasionally participate on Republic Trooper’s bi-weekly podcast.
Requirements
- Fluency in the English Language
- Possess an advanced level of understanding of English grammar
- A high interest and experience in MMORPGs, SWTOR, and the Trooper Class
- The ability to take and implement constructive criticism
- Flexibility to research and write about topics you may not be personally interested in
- A die-hard dedication to Star Wars: The Old Republic and the Trooper Class
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail oriented and committed to deadlines
