Only A Sith Lord Deals In Absolutes – Setting Up Preferences In Star Wars: The Old Republic
Preferences are one of the core features offered in any game, whether it’s an indie single-player RPG or the most expensive MMORGP ever developed. As games have matured the amount of options available to players have expanded, but with such growth comes the inevitable complexity of selecting which options to enable and which settings to choose. Still, more preference options are almost always a sign of a well-designed game; the more flexibility of gameplay a developer delivers to the player the more likely the player is to feel comfortable and enjoy the game.
